Urban EAT Weekend Module Series:

Taught by Starhawk, Kevin Bayuk, and wonderful guest instructors in San Francisco, California, USA.

Take all 6 modules for a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC),
or
take any modules that you are interested in without receiving a PDC

Permaculture design with an urban focus.  What makes a city vibrant and alive?  How is a city like an ecosystem, and how can we live more sustainably in an urban environment? If you're a city dweller who wants to integrate balance and relocalized sustainability into your urban lifestyle (and those of your neighbors), this series of classes is for you. A shift from the typical
2-week residential program, this permaculture design certification course will take place in the heart of the City.

Each weekend will include slideshows, lectures, games, and participatory exercises as well as hands-on practical work.  City walks, tours of permaculture sites and living examples are also in the plan.

Beginning November 16, 17 and 18, 2007 The Vibrant City: Introduction to Urban Permaculture
