In January 2004, filmmakers Donna and Nash Read took the EAT course at Black Mountain Preserve. Donna and Starhawk had previously formed a film company called Belili Productions (their first release is Signs Out of Time about Marija Gimbutas, the archeologist who sparked the Goddess Movement). In 2010 they released their documentary Permaculture: The Growing Edge. Here's the pre-movie: a five-and-a-half-minute video about the EAT course. It's great fun, and gives the flavor of this unique experience.
